What coaching has been like.
“I had the experience but not the words for it in Canada. By the end I could explain my leadership in a way employers understood.”
“It was the first place I could think out loud about the business without having to look like I had it figured out.”
“Deepika knows the room I work in. I didn’t have to explain the politics, so we got to the real decision faster.”
“I came in unsure what to do next. I left with a plan I actually believed in and one thing to try that week.”
I ask. You decide. We check it worked.

An honest fit
I'll say honestly if something else would help more.
Sessions, online
One hour each. You try things at work between sessions.
Coaching is for decisions. Therapy, including executive therapy, is for what you're carrying.
What people ask me.
What does a leadership coach do?
A leadership coach helps you think through leadership decisions and build skills through regular conversations and practice at work. I ask questions, offer perspective and hold you to what you decide.
How is coaching different from consulting?
A consultant tells you what to do. A coach helps you work out what to do, then supports you in doing it.
Why coach with someone from HR?
I've been in the room for terminations, restructures and hard conversations between leaders, so you can talk through a real situation without explaining how HR works. Coaching isn't legal or HR advice, and when you need that, I'll point you to the right person.
Can my employer pay for coaching?
Some employers fund coaching as professional development, so it's worth asking. Ask me about invoicing on your call.
