Privacy policy

Still Human Company (“Still Human Co.”, “we”, “I”) is a coaching business in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, who handles it, and how you can control it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information:
- Your name, email address and message when you use the contact form, the support finder, or request the guide.
- The answers you choose in the support finder (for example, what you want help with and how soon), but only if you submit your details.
- That you confirmed you are 18 or older, and the time you agreed to us contacting you.
- Where you came from (for example a link or campaign) and the first page you visited, so we know which things are useful.
We do not ask for health information, payment details or government identifiers on this website. Please do not put them in your message. Coaching is not therapy, and this website is not the place for clinical details.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you and, if you wish, set up a conversation.
- To send you what you asked for, such as the guide.
- To keep a simple record of who has contacted us and what happened next.
- To understand which pages and links bring people here, so the site can be improved.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process information only for us:
- Supabase stores form submissions in a database located in Canada.
- Zoho CRM holds contact records, in Zoho's Canadian data centre.
- Resend sends the notification and thank-you emails. It processes your name, email address and message in the United States.
- Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request data, such as your IP address, in the United States.
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email, which is where your messages and our replies are kept.
- Cal.com handles booking if you choose to book a call. You give them your details directly, under their own policy.
Because some providers are in the United States, your information may be accessible to U.S. courts and authorities under U.S. law. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies. If we turn on website analytics, we will use a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies or track you across other sites, and we will update this page.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to follow up where you have asked us to. If we do not end up working together, we will delete your details within two years of our last contact, sooner if you ask. If we do work together, we will tell you how long we keep your coaching records.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop contacting you.
Email hello@stillhuman.ca. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Emails from us
When you send a message we reply to you and may send a short confirmation. We will not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without asking you separately. Every message we send that is not a direct reply will include a way to opt out.
Safeguards and incidents
Access to our records is protected by a password, and the site uses encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Children
This website is for adults, 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, please tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where we can, tell you.
